The Travel Decisions of the New Alpha Generation

They are 100% digital people, they were born since  2010, their toys are mobile phones, tablets, all with tactile screens and complete access to information. These kids help their parents on all tech devices problems. This generation is connected to the web 24/7, and if they hear about taking a trip instantly have suggestions on where to go according to their interests. They are the true influencers in the family.

A research showed that there will be 2 billion Alpha Generation people by 2025. It made a survey to 10,000 travelers saying that they travel as frequent as possible with their kids or grandkids. This means that the Alpha Generation has a lot of influence on travel decisions. This means that theme parks, aquatic attractions and outdoor activities will be main destinations. Eight out of ten said that budget was very important,  convenience is  one step above.

Although adults take decisions on information they watch on websites and online travel agencies, friends, and family suggestions, especially from kids are still the greatest influence.
