Four New Multinational Companies Opening in Panama

The Multinational Companies Headquarters Licensing Commission (SEM) approved the establishment of four new Multinational Companies Headquarters in the country, after complying with all the requirements set forth in Law No. 41 of 2007 that regulates the Regime.
These companies project a total investment of approximately $800,000.00 and together will generate around 50 new jobs, the highest percentage of which will be occupied by Panamanian personnel.
Panama has more than 160 SEM companies that have trusted the country and its attributes as an ideal place for investments. The approved multinationals are engaged in activities in the financial, technology, consumer products and personal care sectors; as well as food and drinks.
With the incorporation of the companies Adamantine Panamá, S.A. (Mexico), Hikvision Central América S.A. (China), Spectrum Brands Panama, Llc. (United States) and Panama Dashang Investment Trading S.A. (China) to the special SEM regime, there are already ten companies that have joined this year, contributing to the economic reactivation of the country.
