The Panamanian Book “Two Cook Friends” was Awarded at the Gourmand Awards.

This award is considered the culinary Oscars of Macao, China, and the book “Two Cook Friends won three international awards in this event. The Gourmand Awards choose every year the best cook and wine books, either printed or digital rom around the world.  The biggest recognition a book in this category can have. The book that includes 970 receipts won for Best Self Published Book, third place in the Family Category, and also third place in the First Book Category. The book was written by Julieta de  Diego de Fabrega , known for her weekly column in Revista Elias and Maria de los Angeles Fabrega, a nutritionist. Both are sisters in law and for 10 years share receipts in A La Mesa, a weekly  supplement inserted in La Prensa newspaper. In previous awards renowned chefs like Charlie Collins, Patricia Miranda and Cuquita Arias de Calvo have also been awarded.
