Chiriqui province will once again become a key hub for regional trade with the hosting of the 14th International Business Matchmaking Event (RDN) in 2026, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Agriculture, and Tourism of Chiriqui (CAMCHI). The event will take place on August 26 and 27, marking a special occasion as it forms part of the business organization’s 75th-anniversary commemoration.

An Established Business Platform
The International Business Matchmaking Forum has established itself as one of Panama’s most important business platforms. Its most recent editions have brought together business leaders and buyers from over 20 countries, generating an estimated economic impact of between $25 million and $30 million for the Chiriqui region.
More than just a venue for holding business meetings, the event has become a hub for driving investment, strengthening strategic alliances, and opening new markets for both domestic and international companies.
For Mavis Polo Cheva, President of CAMCHI, this event offers an opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Chiriqui Chamber of Commerce and to reinforce a vital tool like the International Business Matchmaking Forum, thereby reaffirming the organization’s commitment.

A Comprehensive Business Experience
The 2026 edition expands its offering with an agenda designed to provide added value to business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
Key features include the Exhibitions and Trade Promotion area, designed to strengthen brand and product positioning; a Training Program led by national and international specialists; the “Bazar Market Chiriqui,” dedicated to showcasing local talent and production; and “Explore and Connect,” a space focused on academic and professional development opportunities that aims to bring together over 3,000 participants for the third consecutive year.
As part of the opening activities, a specialized forum titled “El Niño Climate Phenomenom” will also take place; here, experts will analyze the impact of climate variability on productive sectors and share adaptation and mitigation strategies aimed at the business community and society at large.

International Promotion
The organization maintains an active promotional agenda both domestically and abroad. Recently, a CAMCHI delegation undertook a trade mission to Costa Rica, establishing contacts with potential investors interested in exploring opportunities in Panama.
Similarly, an institutional committee will carry out a schedule of activities in Panama City to present the event to business associations, diplomatic delegations, multinational companies, and strategic stakeholders, with the aim of boosting international participation and expanding the network of buyers and business leaders.
According to Francisco Serracin, Director of the International Business Matchmaking Forum, the growing international interest confirms the event’s established standing and reinforces expectations that figures from previous years will be surpassed.
The 14th Chiriqui International Business Matchmaking Forum is poised to be one of the most significant business events of 2026, cementing the province’s status as a strategic destination for investment, innovation, and regional economic development.
