Panama Best Practices, Will Convert Hygiene and Health Practices into Real Tourism Values

COVID-19 free destinations do not exist and will not exist, at least until there is a safe and approved vaccine, for this reason, the best practices in each place will make a difference.

Panama Best Practices will be held from October 2 to 7. This project of great impact for the entire Industry is an initiative of the private company David Dolum through the Panamanian Association of Professionals in Congresses, Exhibitions and alike (APPCE), in addition to the efforts of the National Chamber of Tourism and the Panamanian Association of Hotels. This activity will allow the entire local industry to show how best practices are implemented attending visitors, customers and operational personnel.


Valuable Information
The drills that will be carried out in each destination will allow to have qualitative and quantitative information on the different responsibility expressions with its the rules and protocols to achieve the following objectives: have the destinations manage to express the best practices according to their reality and environment, obtain a first-hand response from visitors, develop graphic and audiovisual material for the promotion of each destination, encourage the exchange of knowledge about the practices of each region and improve the regulations that require it according to the behavior of the visitor.


The Whole Industry is Invited
This project invites all people who are linked to national and international tourism to help verify that Panama applies the best practices for the attention of national and international tourists through their activity. A way to support the management of bringing the greatest number of tourists to our country in the shortest possible time.


Each registered union must organize its activity and participate with its own resources to carry out the activities according to the allowed capacity, present its own project according to the program and having a coordinator responsible for each event venue. You will also have to implement the guidelines in the workplace to prevent Covid-19 through hygiene and health.


Panama Best Practices seeks to perfect the protocols un order to position hygiene and health as real and tangible elements of Panama as a safe tourist destination.
