A 97% progress has the station of Line 2 of the Panama Metro, which connects with the Specialized Higher Technical Institute (ITSE) and the Tocumen International Airport (AIT). This was confirmed by the Comptroller General of the Republic after taking a tour of this work.
Agustin Arias, director of projects and planning of the Metro, stated that they have started local tests with the systems up to the airport. These stations have a single platform and a single track to the airport.
It is worth mentioning that the budget for this construction, between the two contracts, totals $152 million.
