The project is within a tourist area due to its proximity to the interoceanic highway, in addition to attractions such as the Summit Municipal Park; therefore, the development of this work will help boost ecotourism and the economy in this area of ​​Panama City.

With this project, the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) has among its objectives to improve road and rainwater infrastructure, recover and order public easement and the urban mobility system, under the concept of universal accessibility of roads in the downtown sector. of the City of Panama, to create a binding mobility that generates a network with several options of origin destinations in non-motorized transport

The construction of the Summit – Gamboa road cycle lane will bring multiple benefits such as: the promotion of healthy habits, it will lead to more inclusion by society and environmental protection.
