Visitors to Panama City, as well as residents, will have the opportunity to experience Afro-Antillean culture in all its splendor next Saturday, May 24, at Old Panama City.
This event, with free admission to the public, will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will allow attendees to enjoy a wide variety of cultural activities.
Afro-Antillean Gastronomy
This event will feature stands where Afro-Panamanian gastronomy entrepreneurs will offer their traditional dishes as well as innovative fusions that will delight all attendees.
Art and Music to Enjoy
Attendees will be able to enjoy and even dance to the rhythm of folkloric dance performances, as well as live musical groups.

Gastronomic Contests
One of the festival’s biggest attractions is the food, which is why attendees can enjoy the “Best Saus”, contest, a traditional Afro-Antillean dish beloved by both locals and foreigners. The festival’s best chef will also be selected with the participation of a specialized jury.
Entrepreneurship and Handicraft Sales
People attending this festival will be able to purchase handicrafts and traditional products made by expert artisans that will delight everyone.
