National Orange Fair, Introduces Visitors Into the Life of Churuquita Grande Farmers in Cocle 

Churuquita Grande is a town located in Cocle Province at 30 minutes from Penonome City and is the site where a fair is held every year where oranges are the protagonist. This year, from January 29 to February 2, the National Orange Fair will be held, a cultural event where thousands of Visitors visit to learn everything about this delicious fruit and its influence on the way of life of local farmers.

Ranch Exhibition and Many Activities

This fair is characterized by the exhibition of ranches, where many are designed in a different and original way than what is normally known. An attraction that differentiates this fair from others in Panama. 

It is also possible to find artisans selling a wide variety of products, as well as souvenirs. Likewise, the local cuisine offered, satisfies the tastes and palates of all Visitors. Another activity that attracts many people are the farmers who offer products from the region such as cassava, tangerines, cabangas (dessert made of papaya, coconut, guava, raspadura and cinnamon) and many oranges.

Folklore and Cultural Presentations

The National Orange Fair also stands out for having cultural presentations on its main stage, where attendees can enjoy folkloric dances, as well as music shows by regional and national artists. You can also enjoy the presentation of the queen of the Fair, which this year will be Dayana Michell Sanchez Aguirre.

One of the ingredients that contribute to the success of this event is the large parking lots and well manage security, which allows Visitors to enjoy the activities of this fair.
