When the end of the year approaches and the new year is coming, people begin to feel the need to visit the beach to receive the healthy properties of the sun and cool off in the warm waters of Panama.

Iguana Island, Paradise of Turquoise Waters and Coral Reefs
Located 15 minutes by boat from El Arenal beach, Visitors take advantage of their stay on Iguana Island to sunbathe and enjoy the white sand, as well as its turquoise waters.
Around Isla Iguana is one of the main coral reefs in the area, which allows you to practice snorkeling or diving to observe the variety of fish, corals and manta rays that live there.
On the other side of the island is El Faro beach, which can be reached by walking along a path and where you can see a lot of vegetation, as well as shorebirds.

The Golden Sands of Playa Toro
This beach is located very close to the town of Pedasi, just 5 minutes by car and a little further using a bike. And the road that leads to this place is beautiful as it runs through green fields that offers a unique atmosphere.
This beach has soft golden sand where many people go for a walk and escape the heat by bathing in its warm waters. The beach has 2 kilometers of coastline and at one end of the beach it has a closed path with some rocks, but at the other end is open and it is possible to walk until you reach El Arenal beach from where the boats sails for Isla Iguana. Since it is a beach without trees or palm trees, it is important that the Visitor brings an umbrella, cold drinks and snacks.

Playa Venao, the Capital of Surfing and Fun
This summer destination is located at the southern tip of the Pedasi District in the Province of Los Santos, a 30-minute drive from the town of Pedasi.
Surfing is the main activity carried out by most people who visit or live around Playa Venao. The consistency of its big waves, the culture around this sport and its warm waters makes this place a magnet that attracts visitors from all over the world.
Here you will find schools to learn or perfect this sport, as well as facilities to rent surfboards in hotels, hostels and surf shops.
In Playa Venao you can also enjoy a variety of activities such as deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, yoga, hiking on natural trails, bird watching, horseback riding on the beach. There are also restaurants, cafes, beach bars, hotels and resorts that are located along the coast.
