The new highway gives residents access to basic services, allow the transportation of agricultural products and give an impressive boost to tourism development in the area, surrounded by natural landscapes and beautiful beaches.

With an investment of $39.9 million, the work includes the construction of 44.6 kilometers of road, in addition to the bridges over the Tríbique River, the Limón, Los Indios and Rosario streams; the Seco River and the Pixvae River branch bridge.
Pixvae is a community located on the Pacific coast of Veraguas Province, in Las Palmas town. It has a privileged location within the national geography, since it is one of the access routes to Coiba National Park.

It has a cool weather, a little cooler in the northern part, in the area called “La Sierra”, where rain is frequent throughout the year.
