A Hobby That Developer Into a Brewery

Las Tablas Brewing Co. opened its doors on July 20, 2019 during the celebrations of the patron saint Santa Librada, revered by thousands of people from all over Panama. In the culinary field, the owner of this brewery-restaurant come from a family of cooks with more than 75 years of history. Carlos Villarreal is the Chef and Head Brewer of this company, being the 4th generation of cooks in his family. A Graphic designer, he studied International Cuisine at the Mausi Sebess Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina. However, the path to the production of Craft Beer began as a hobby in 2018 and continued to nurture his knowledge with courses at the Siebel Institute of Technology and the CRBF Beer School.

Craft Beer Straight from the Barrel

This brewery has its own products that identify it as a brand made in Las Tablas, and has managed to create a community of people who are passionate about purely artisan products. However, Las Tablas Brewing Co is distinguished by serving craft beer directly from the barrel, an experience for the senses.

They have 10 lines of brewery craft beers from various parts of the country and some from the house. Among the house beers you can enjoy la Niña Lety / Cream Ale with Vanilla, Breva / Brown Ale, Hardcore Típico / Hazy IPA, Canajagua / Summer Ale, among others. They have also produced more than 15 different types of beers available depending on the season.

In addition to draft beers, they also offer a wide selection of Panamanian canned and bottled beers, and even some imported ones to satisfy all palates.
