Boquete Central Park, the New Recreation Area On the Banks of the Caldera River

Boquete has a New Central Park that has been opens since one year ago. It is the new tourist point for local and foreign visitors in the most famous tourist destination in Panama after the Panama Canal and Casco Antiguo in Capital City.

Recreation Areas Along the Caldera River

Central Park is a project developed by the Boquete Library Foundation that, despite being in its early stages, has large green spaces with plants, an area for walking or biking, domestic birds, three ponds, places to rest, and beautiful views, as well as a cool mountain climate.

This public work that improves the quality of life of citizens and creates natural spaces for tourism has trails where visitors can exercise, jog, run or simply walk with family or friends.

A Green Lung for Boquete

The park is located a few meters from the Boquete Public Library on the banks of the Caldera River and has almost 9 hectares for family recreation and educational activities. More than 5,000 plants typical of the region have also been planted, such as parrots, walnuts, eucalyptus and other species that will turn the park into a lung for Boquete and its surroundings.

The central park of Boquete is open to the public for free from Monday to Sunday from 7:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.
