Congress Entrepreneurs Demand Reactivation Actions from the Tourism Authority

Companies from the Convention and Congress sector asked the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) for actions to reactivate the tourism sector and define the date for the reopening of the types of activities, as well as confirm the opening on July 1 of the Panama Convention Center (PCC).
In a letter addressed to the ATP Administrator Ivan Eskildsen, the businessmen that make up the Panamanian Association of Professionals of Congresses, Exhibitions and Related (APPCE), requested information that they consider valuable and on which thousands of jobs and the sustainability of companies who are engaged in this activity depend.
In the same way, they also expressed that while destinations such as Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica multiply the possibilities to offer a wider range of events (with success in the case of Colombia), Panama has not defined the dates for the reopening of Atlapa Convention Center and the confirmation of the opening for July 1, 2021 of the Panama Convention Center (PCC).
