Giants of the Sea Visit Panama

From July to November more than 2,000 whales come from the north and south pole to complete their reproductive cycle (one of two places in the world that this happens). An unsurpassed nature show that thousands of locals and foreign Visitors witness each year in our country. The main sites to watch these large water mammals that range from 14 to 18 meters long are: Las Perlas Archipelago, Pedasi, Gulf of Chiriqui, the coasts of Veraguas, Gulf of Montijo and Coiba National Marine Park. It is mandatory to have a guide that applies good practices for whale watching activities. This is a tourists attraction that generates over 3 millions in annual incomes (according to Wetlands International), generating wealth and development to coastal communities in our country.
