Holy Week at Antigua Guatemala

Guatemala has characteristics that make it a charming country. One of them is the way in which its people celebrate each of their customs and traditions. One of the most entrenched traditions of this historical sector is the celebration of Lent and Holy Week, that will be celebrated from April 5 to 11.
Holy Week in Antigua begins on Palm Sunday with a mass attended by people who practice the Catholic religion in which the priest blesses the flowers bouquets for people to take home. During the rest of the week there are events and processions in different churches.
