Gisella Contini is from Torino, in the northern region of Italy is where she finds the mixture of passion for cooking, the skills she learned from her mentor, an Italian chef, and the love that Tomasina gave her to put in every dish she cooks.
She brought this deep emotional feeling to Panama and opened A Mangiare Restaurant. Here, essence and tradition mix perfectly to cheer for excellent cuisine and the authentic flavors of the beautiful Italy. The best gastronomic experience that anybody can have surrounded by a cozy and romantic environment, accompanied by Italian music.
A Mangiare offers a great selection of handmade pastas in its menu, (various are gluten free) some are cavatelli trofie (short pasta), gnocchi de papa, stuffed pasta like ravioli but cook in the oven from 8 to 12 hours, tortellini and tagliatelle. Also there is a wide variety of Risottos in Terra e Mare versions.
The Brasato al Barolo with i suoi agnolotti (beef marinated with red wine and cook in an oven) is the most outstanding meat dish in our menu.
Every dish has to be accompanied by a delicious Italian dessert like Tiramisú, Boonet (typical Torino dessert made with chocolate) and Amaretti and Panna Cotta.
