“Traveling Cinema”, New Project of MyCulture Will Travel the Isthmus

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) develops the “Traveling Cinema” project, with free film presentations for the whole family in the provinces of Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas, Coclé and Colón.  The documentaries that make up the first version of the audiovisual and training project are: “CAJA 25” by Delfina Vidal and Mercedes Arias, “BREAKING THE WAVE” by Annie Canavaggioi, “IT’S TIME TO FALL IN LOVE” by Guido Bilbao, “A LA DERIVA” by Miguel González and the fictional sports drama “KIMURA” by Aldo Rey Valderrama.  “The objective of this initiative, organized by MiCultura through the National Direction of the Arts, is to bring the seventh arts, with Panamanian productions, to cultural spaces in different parts of the country. In addition, it is the opportunity for directors, producers or the actors of the films to talk with the audience, before and after the screenings, “said Daniel Domínguez; National Director of The Arts of MiCultura.  “Traveling Cinema” will arrive in the province of Chiriquí from August 27 to 29, with screenings at the Dr. Roberto Jaén and Jaén Library of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí (UNACHI) and the Municipal School of Fine Arts of the Mayor’s Office of David.  Programming “Traveling Cinema” 2019.
