When you think of shopping in Panama, the first thing that comes to mind is the Capital City, with its internationally famous shopping malls. However, there is a city in Chiriqui that also stands out for its large number of shopping centers and for having the second largest mall in the country. The City of David, being the point of arrival for Visitors, with a great commercial development, a growing number of foreigners living in the province and an economic development that has allowed the increase in the purchasing power of the population, make this urban center a “regional hub” for shopping.

Here You Get Everything
In David you can buy practically everything that Panama City has to offer, since the most important stores in the country have stores that tend to be among the largest, as well as offering prices that are competitive with those of the Capital.
Going shopping in David for all its malls would take several days to visit. However, the Visitor can purchase clothing from the best brands, high-tech appliances, home accessories, furniture stores, pharmacies, everything.

Many Shopping Centers to Visit
Describing all the shopping centers is impossible with limited space, however we leave a list of the most important ones to visit:
Federal Mall: Opened in 2020 and is the second largest mall in the country and is on the road to the mountain town of Boquete.
Chiriqui Mall: It was the first Mall in David and the pioneer in the introduction of a new shopping mall in the province. It is located on the Panamericana, in the San Pablo sector.
Plaza Terronal: This shopping center immediately stood out for housing one of the most important anchor stores in the country, to the point that whoever buys there feels like they are in the Capital City. It is located on the Panamerican highway, just as you enter David.
City Mall: Also located on the Panamerican highway in the San Pablo sector, this shopping center draws attention with its open concept and varied stores.
Design Plaza: It is an advanced open concept shopping center as it applies ecological elements that help the Visitor’s shopping experience. Located on the road to Boquete.
The list goes on, and each Visitor will likely require more than one visit to this city to see them all.
