Panama seeks to have world-class innovative projects, and for this it received a delegation from the Global Innovation Lab, at the University of Texas, in Austin, United States, who will comprehensively diagnose the incubators of the country’s innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem, reported this Friday the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacyt).
The visit focused on Hacienda Mamecillo and Finca Elida Estate, both located in Chiriqui Province and are part of the Coffee Circuit; a tourism product promoted by the Western Region Competitiveness Center (CECOM-RO), which also supports the incubator initiative.
With the diagnosis of the Global Innovation Lab, the innovative projects of the country will be able to define the strategies and objectives in the environment of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, recruit companies and train them, to ensure that the enterprises can develop the capacities to be successful and be competitive in the local and international market.
