The Government of Panama approved applying the third dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 to immunosuppressed patients from 28 days after the second dose and applying booster doses against Covid-19 from three months after the second dose to the population aged 16 and over, in authorized centers throughout the national territory.
The report of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) reveals that since January 2021, when Operation PanavaC-19 began, 6,442,821 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have been applied to date. Of that total, 3,130,524 have been placed in the first dose; 2,822,517 in the second dose; 481,987 booster doses and 7,793 third doses to immunosuppressed patients.
