The National Tourism Council (CNT), the highest management and consultative body on tourism activities in the country, unanimously approved the bidding for the acquisition of five electric buses to operate in Casco Antiguo, the historic center of Capital City and one of the main tourist attractions in the country.
The acquisition will be for an estimated amount of B /. 1.3 million, with funds from the Inter-American Development Bank, within the framework of the Comprehensive Urban Development Program for Cities with a Tourist Vocation.
The new fleet of 9.5 m long electric buses with capacity for 45 people will be operated by Mi Bus, and will depart from the Metro Bus Patio in El Chorrillo, bound for the Old Town, at 4:00 a.m. at 11:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
