The President of APATEL, Armando RodrÃguez comments that, Panama hotels will apply biosecurity protocols in 12 sensitive areas within their facilities, as part of the measures approved by the Ministry of Health and quality standards, aimed at guaranteeing optimal care for their visitors, once operations in this sector resume, set for next October 12.

These sensitive areas that include biosafety protocols are accommodation and reception, public or common areas, food and beverages, events, rooms, laundry, maintenance, suppliers and contractors, reception of raw materials, security, airport service and systems computer scientists. He added that they have carried out a series of additional measures to reinforce the disinfection processes in all rooms, among which are Check In and Check Out, common areas, food and beverages, control and verification processes, among others.
It is likely that 30% of the businesses are not prepared to reopen their doors next October.
