After 22 years of working in Market Research,\nLeyda decided to go back home with the idea of \u200b\u200btaking care of her children\nand working from home, but the latter did not happen due to family problems and\nthe arrival of a change of life with a partner that has the tendency to stop\nmany women\u2019s lives: depression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, she fought to achieve a purpose in\nlife and discovered the world of paper flowers. She was so fascinated by it\nthat she started practicing with YouTube tutorials, focusing on canvas frames\nwith messages to thank someone for something. She also received the support of\nher daughter who motivated her and helped to open her entrepreneurship account\non Instagram in August 2018. In this way, the fantabulous adventure called\nLeyda’s Flowers began, a name inspired by the way her husband called all the\nflowers that flooded the living room of the house, and so for the first time, Leyda began charging\nfor her creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Discovery of “Quilling”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of 2020, this entrepreneur\ndiscovered “quilling”, and since she took the first workshop with\n@vanesavergel_design (Venezuelan artist) she has not been able to stop\n“painting with cardstock strips”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leyda\u00b4s Flowers is handmade art with paper\n(cardboard). She makes frames\nwith paper flowers and \u201cquilling\u201d or filigree frames (technique with cardstock\nstrips). The creations are themed and personalized with a name, initials or\nmessages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also works on canvas of different sizes and\nframes (or\nportraits) with glass. She also makes paper flowers to decorate activities,\nflower crowns and flower arrangements in pots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s Always a Good Time for a Gift<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leyda’s Flowers creations are ideal to give on\nbirthdays, anniversaries and special celebrations (such as Valentine’s Day,\nMother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her creations are also highly requested to\ndecorate rooms, halls, events, offices, welcoming newborns, reproduce company\nor entrepreneurial logos, thanking someone for something special or for someone\nspecial, convey emotions, even to treat oneself and pamper yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of her art pieces have traveled to other\ncountries. Some for relatives in the United States, others bought by tourists\nat a fair in Casco Viejo. They have also been acquired by travelers from\nBrazil, Canada and England, and even Italy, for friends where her daughter\nstudies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creations that Generate Emotions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generally Leyda performs creations requested for\ngifts, but as she indicates, her main objective is to transmit positive\nemotions to the person who receives one of her art pieces. Make the person feel\nspecial, unique, loved and important. This is the reason, Leyda invests a good\npart of her time, getting to know the tastes of the client and the person who\nwill receive the piece of art. The first, is to make the person feel that his\nor her feelings  were transmitted through\nthe art piece and the second is to make the receptor happy, feeling that what she\nreceived is in accordance with her personal tastes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this artist, keeping her prices affordable\nis very important, in order for more people to have access to this beautiful\nart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
