{"id":3469,"date":"2022-01-28T19:18:08","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T18:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/eng\/?p=3469"},"modified":"2022-03-17T14:22:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T13:22:44","slug":"road-to-calovebora-the-conquest-of-the-veraguas-atlantic-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/eng\/2022\/01\/28\/road-to-calovebora-the-conquest-of-the-veraguas-atlantic-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"Road to Calovebora, the Conquest of the Veragua\u2019s Atlantic Sector"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Veraguas Province will\nhave more visitors and commercial\ntrade in the area, thanks to the construction of the El Guabal \u2013 R\u00edo\nLuis \u2013 Calovebora highway, which will benefit the residents of the Santa Fe\ndistrict&nbsp; and surrounding communities\nsuch as Guabal, Alto Ortiga , La Paliza, R\u00edo Luis among others located along\nthis work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2015, this road,\nalso known as the &#8220;Conquest of the Atlantic&#8221;, has been under\nconstruction, which will benefit 17,000 people, who for decades have had to\nsuffer on impassable roads full of mud as a result of the continuous rains,\nwhich has prevented them from many times moving towards their destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/calovebora04.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This route has 35 kilometers of highway with four bridges that now will take all Visitors to the community of Calovebora, a town with approximately 4,397 inhabitants that is dedicated to fishing, agriculture and beach tourism, as well as the sale of arts and crafts. This town has a large coastal area bathed by the Caribbean Sea, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
