It all started when Martha Zulay Campa\u00f1a and Pedro De La Torre Barroso,\na young couple at the end of the 90&#8217;s, prepared a few cheeses that were\ndistributed free of charge among neighbors and friends, a product that today is\none of the references for cheese lovers in Chiriqui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;A Factory that is a Reflection of its\nHistory&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This phrase is the one that best describes how it was at\nMartha and Pedro\u2019s home, where the dream of making excellent dairy products\nbegan. This project led them to transform the home into a 450-square-meter processing\nplant that is&nbsp; regularly regularly by\nhundreds of consumers, some 25 milk producers and where a dozen great\ncollaborators work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/lacteos05.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7645\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A New Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A second generation of the family currently runs the\ncompany, Martha Lucia De La Torre and Maria Gabriela De La Torre, have kept\nintact the principles of integrity, transparency, quality, creativity, tenacity\nand solidarity, which have governed this company since its inception: their\nfamily values. The diversity of Don Joaquin products reaches a hundred stores,\nbetween supermarkets and small stores throughout the province of Chiriqui and more\nrecently Panama City through partners such as Cerro Punta S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/lacteos01.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7646\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pride in Satisfying Every Customer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lacteos Don Joaquin is proud to offer their customers\nand friends a variety of local, artisan and differentiated dairy products,\nincluding a range of fresh cow&#8217;s milk-based cheeses: andean Type Fresh cheese,\nSemi-hard mozarella cheese,\ngrill cheese with fine herbs. Fresh cheeses made from goat&#8217;s milk: fresh\npressed goat cheese, spreadable chevre cheese and feta cheese. They also offer\na line of yogurt made from cow&#8217;s or goat&#8217;s milk in drinkable, unsweetened or\nflavored formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the store the customer can find all these products\ntogether with a selection of empanadas, bakery, and desserts made with their\nproducts from local allied brands. Now, along with a great cheese, you cannot\nmiss a great coffee! For that reason, in the store, Visitors can enjoy an\nexcellent cup of specialty coffee, provided by local farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/lacteos04.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7647\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cool summer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer is also very important for this company, and as\nthe season approaches, they offer their star product for the beach or summer\ntrips: Yogulado\u00ae, frozen yogurt pops, excellent to share with friends or\nfamily, a healthy snack with probiotics with varied flavors. Of course, every\ntime a customer enters the store can always expect great service from the staff\nto guide them in the\nselection of cheeses according to taste and need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jersey Breed Dairy Production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most recent project that this company has embarked\non has been led by Maria Gabriela De La Torre and her husband Jose Eloy Ortega,\nwho run Livestock Tierra de Leche, a Jersey dairy farm. A personal project that\nquickly transforms into the next stage of Don Joaquin, the production of\nspecialized raw material that is 100% transformed in the manufacturing plant.\nIntegrating primary production in the production chain is a project that\nexcites the entire work team,\nas it will allow them to make differentiated creations in their product range\nin the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/lacteos06.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7648\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Products Can be Purchased Throughout Chiriqui<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lacteos Don Joaquin products can be found in a\nselection of supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the province of\nChiriqui.
