Although historically this fact is not fully proven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thevisitorpanama.info\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Museo_de_la_Nacionalidad-1-1024x768-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9429\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br> Causes of the Historical Event<br> The continuous abuse of the Spanish authorities and the annoying economic situation were the causes that began the frustration of all Panamanians and the will to be independent from the Spanish crown.<br> This caused a process of uprisings in various parts of the country without a drop of blood, among them, Parita, Las Tablas, Penonome, Ocu, Nata de los Caballeros, San Francisco de Veraguas and Alanje in Chiriqu\u00ed.<br> Liberation Movement<br> The desire to be free was attended by Don Segundo Villarreal who assembled a group of volunteers willing to give their lives to force the Spanish to proceed with the separation.<br> This act, achieved the basis of independence after an Open Town Hall. This is why November 10, 1821 is considered as a day related directly to the declaration of independence from Spain on November 28, 1821.<br> Every year this date is celebrated with parades in various parts of the country but mainly in the Villa de Los Santos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long live Liberty!
